Hello,
I would think it would benefit students if teachers could add a module under a module, like you have a folder in a folder. Have you concidered to add that in at all? Even also give the option of making the main modules as a grid view instead of only a list view.
That way we can reduce overflowing of information when students go into the module site and when they open each module. So the module site would only have a few modules, each week of the course or each project they are working on, and then when they open a module they would have other "modules" where we have broken down even more what they will be doing: projecets, problems, lectures, and more. That way we could reduce the overwhelming information for the students when they are at the beginning of something.
Hi @RannveigRichter ...
I had to do a bit of searching to find what I was looking for...as I knew there used to be a pretty active conversation about modules within modules here in the Community. I found the conversation...which has essentially been archived for historical reference only:

There are almost 200 comments in this thread, so I'm not sure if you'd want to read through all of them or not. However, there is a response from Instructure on this Feature Idea. Click on the link under the blue banner for "Comments from Instructure" on that page.
I know this might not be the answer you were looking for, but I hope it helps to clarify why this hasn't been implemented so far.
