How can I enter grades after the Grading period closed?

Long story short I got injured.  My grading period ended last Friday 4/4.  We had until 4/11 to enter grades. We are on spring break and I have 3 assignments and random missing work to enter scores.  How can I do this?  Grades are not finalized til Tuesday 4/15 and report cards sent home on the following day.  Please help!

It seems that your canvas admin added a close date from your previous grading period. A close date basically restricts instructors from changing grades after a certain date. That being said, I think the only solution would be to reach out to your school's canvas administrator to see if they can assist in helping you get your grades updated.

Sorry to hear that you were injured. I hope that your healing is going well.

Without more details about how your course is setup or how the assignments are designed, you can enter grades by following the guidance in the  How do I enter and edit grades in the Gradebook? - Instructure Community - 724  support article.

If your course has officially ended, you would need to contact your school's Canvas team or IT Department for help.
