I created a Canvas Free-for-Teacher course for myself and two other poets who wanted to have a place to post drafts of poems and submit comments. We've been using this Canvas FFT course for a couple of months, then suddenly, today, the two people who are defined as Students/Participants (they appear as one or the other in different parts of the UI) cannot see any Discussions, nor can they see the content posted in those discussions.
I don't know what has happened or how to fix it.

It looks like your users have been deactivated somehow. You should be able to select the Atkins menu for those students and then select the link "Re-activate User" (screenshot):

Thanks for that screenshot. That user has not been deactivated so no option to reactivate. Are you using discussions to post and comment on drafts? If so I wonder if the availability or visibility of those discussions has changed.
Thanks for pursuing this issue, Greg. Much appreciated. I was able to make Discussions and their content visible again to participants in the course by changing their user category from "Participant" to "Student." The category "Participant" seems to have been eliminated as a user type? In any case, the ship has been righted and we're sailing again.
