Does anyone have a link to the different settings that the 4 different English Languages impact?
There is the UK, USA, Australian, and Canadian.
I would like to know the difference between these. As everything (headings etc) are written by users, I'm guessing that it doesn't have many spelling impacts - and even then, some of these would be the same (I think) ie. Aust. and UK.
I'm thinking of trying to change to make our institution a Monday to Sunday week rather than Sunday to Saturday, and the only way I can find is to change the language. I'm a little reluctant as I can't find anything that shows me the impact of the change.
I have viewed this - https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Observer-Guide/How-do-I-change-the-language-preference-in-my-user...
and this - https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Basics-Guide/What-languages-does-Canvas-support/ta-p/19
but neither of them give me any information about the implications of a change.

Greetings @megankoontz
We do not have a public itemized glossary of the differences. The primary differences are that terminology is localized. An example of localized terminology is marks vs grades; Australia uses the term marks while the USA uses the term grades.
There are also some differences in spelling between regions.
Does this help answer your question?

Thank you. It seems an oversight not to have clarity on the differences. I do live between two countries so I know the language differences that I speak, but I don't' know what Canvas thinks they are.
