Hello,
When I am reading student responses in a discussion, my cursor randomly decides to move me to a different random place in the discussion. It keeps happening and I have no idea why. It's very unhelpful as it's hard for me to get back to the place I was and wanted to be.
Has anyone else had this happen? It's driving me nuts.
Thanks.
Greetings @hjf11060 ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
This behavior is honestly very strange, I've personally never experienced anything like this before. Has this been occurring a lot when you read student discussions (like each time) or is it just on occasion? Also, are you by chance using the free for teacher canvas instance or does your school / institution have a paid account?
I feel the best thing you could do is hard reset the device your experiencing this on. However, if this is something that is happening on multiple devices and you truly think it's Canvas doing something, I recommend reaching out to support with your information so they can assist you.
Best,
Noah
Thanks for your reply. Our institution has a paid account. I usually just read the replies on one device but I'll try restarting my computer and see if it helps.
Coming back to say, it's still happening, in case somebody else is searching for answers in the future. I'm grading on a laptop using the latest version of Firefox. It pretty much happens each time.
