Questions about functionality and best practices re: inserting course links
If a user has created course links to PAGES or Navigation elements within the course -- Insert > Course Link >
will the links copy over when we import the course into a new shell next semester? I mean, they should, right?
I ask because we have had issues with documents not copying over to new courses, but rather linking to the OLD course that the end-users (usually students) cannot access. I suspect that we should be training faculty to put their standard materials on Pages. Am I right?

Hi @PatriciaRoy
If you link to the pages in the way that you describe, then yes, they should import/transfer correctly. However, if you link to the pages by directly inserting the URL to the page, or by cutting and pasting the link from another source, then the link will be "hard wired" directly to the source in the original course, and will not transfer properly.
