Apologies if this has been brought up elsewhere.
I was testing Checkpoints, and when you select "Automatically assign" for the "Peer Reviews" type you are prompted with an extra date and time box. When you enter a date it defaults the time to 12:00AM, which is first thing in the morning. Anywhere else on Canvas when you select a due date it defaults the time to 11:59PM this is almost a 24 hour difference.
It would be good to have this default time be consistent with the rest of Canvas (11:59PM), especially with it being in regards to grades.
Sorry, not any help with your issue, but I'd love to try out the new multiple checkpoints feature in an active class with students.
How did you get this feature active in your class? Or is this only available in a test course site without students?
I was able to access it in our beta environment, I believe it won't be available in production until November.
< it won't be available in production until November.>
well, at least I won't have to wait too long to play with it.
Thanks
That is a good point, as it does not even allow you to choose 11:59 PM as the time, even if you change it manually. However, if you leave the "review due" date blank, it will default to that date and the time of the discussion's due date.
Hi @cmgerken, thanks for raising this issue. I've created a ticket for our team to address this.
