An instructor used canvas regrade with the old quizzes and gave students full credit for the question. However whats happening is that for some students the question was regraded and they received one mark while other students still received a grade as 0. Has anyone seen this before?
My understanding with Classic Quizzes is that the instructor must go back and manually regrade the quizzes one by one. The easiest way, of course, is just to cycle through them using Speedgrader.
Given the extra work, this is a good reminder to instructors to make sure that all of the quizzes are in top form before the students take them.
Thanks for the reply. Actually you should be able to regrade a question globally by clicking on a new correct answer, then a screen pops up with different options for regrading. In this case the instructor chose to give students full credit for the question but only some of the questions were given full credit (1 mark) and not others. It is very peculiar. The instructor doesn't want to use fudge points because he has 300 students. I did find if you export to spreadsheet it will override the score so that is one option.
If anyone has any other suggestions how to fix this, please let me know! Trying to select it again didn't work.
I regraded and had a similar issue - some students marks were not regraded. I repeated the process of regrading and saving the quiz again, and this solved the issue for me.
