Auto-Expand RCE in New Quizzes

Hi all,

In New Quizzes, when creating/updating questions and possible answers, one must click a field in order for it to expand into the RCE. In some workflows, this becomes inefficient and requires a lot of clicking.

Is it possible to just auto-expand all fields into the RCE on page-load where appropriate? In other words, on page load, simply display the RCE on the appropriate fields that allow it. Don't require a user to click the field to open it.

As a tech person, I have an educated guess about why this works as it does.  It's likely that trying to load multiple instances of the RCE at the same time could cause system/load issues (we see this from time to time with video content from 3rd parties), and that is why the behavior is what it is right now.  It could also be a screen spacing thing, as the RCE takes up a lot more space, and many users don't like to have to scroll as much to see everything.  You could certainly submit this as an idea for Instructure to consider in the future though and see what kind of response the idea gets.
