Double badges and empty colums in the report

Hi @a_fleuren ...

I don't have much experience with the "Attendance" tool in Canvas courses...as I am a Canvas administrator at our school.  I do not teach courses at our school.  So, what I have to share may not be completely correct.  But, I'll take a guess at this.  As a Canvas admin, I looked at our own sub-account structure, and it looks like if I navigate to a sub-account, the "Manage badges" tab for the "Attendance" tool is empty.  But, at our root account level, we have a badge called "PARTICIPATION" and another called "EXCUSED ABSENCE".  So, I wonder if your school's Canvas administrator just hasn't set up any badges at the sub-account level?

As for the double badges, that might also be something you'd need to check with your school's local Canvas administrator about.

Again, I am not 100% on what I've stated above, but I guess I'll call it a theory anyway.  I hope this might help in some way.  Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!

I did setup badges at the sub-account level, I think that's why they are double now. But I can't find out where the information is stored. The report columns of the badges are empty. I am also the admin and a teacher in Canvas.

Hi @a_fleuren ...

I think I'd recommend reaching out to Canvas Support to see if they can be of further help.  Since Community members don't have access to your school's Canvas environment, it's a little hard to troubleshoot what might be going on.  Canvas Support folks should be able to log into your school's Canvas environment and take a look at things with you to help you troubleshoot this more.  Keep us posted after you talk with them...thanks!
