In this Catalog release (February 3), Catalog and Credentials integration improvements are available.

Canvas Catalog is an all-in-one learning solution that integrates with the Canvas LMS as a course registration system, payment gateway, and learning platform. Learn more about Canvas Catalog.

Unless otherwise noted, all features in this release are available in the Beta environment on 2025-01-28 and the Production environment on 2025-0-03.

Updated Feature

Canvas and Credentials Integration Improvements

Improvements to the Catalog and Credentials integration are available. 

View Catalog Listing

The Available Badges section only displays if badges are assigned to the listing [1]. If no badges are assigned, this section is not visible. Also, the listing’s teaser (the brief summary of the listing) is expanded to display more information [2].

View Initiate SyncWhen clicking the Initiate Synchronisation link on the Credentials settings page in Catalog, it updates the privacy settings of a Pathway in Catalog. As a result, when changing a Pathway to Private and clicking the Initiate Synchronisation link, the Pathways are no longer visible to students in the Catalog.
