Release notes outline upcoming customer-impacting changes that are expected to be displayed in production environments. Please note that features considered for future development are not included in the notes.

Canvas Catalog is an all-in-one learning solution that integrates with the Canvas LMS as a course registration system, payment gateway, and learning platform. Learn more about Canvas Catalog.

Unless otherwise stated, all features in this release are available in the Beta environment on 2025-04-15 and the Production environment on 2025-04-22.

New Features

Copy Listings

Summary

Admins can duplicate existing course listings.

Change Benefit

This feature simplifies the process of creating new listings while maintaining consistency and accuracy across course offerings.

Feature WorkflowView Listings Page

In the Listings page, click the Add Course button.

View Course to List

In the Choose the Canvas Course you want to list in Catalog drop-down menu, admins can search for a Canvas course [1].

In the Copy listing drop-down menu, admins can search for the listing to copy [2].

Click the Create Listing button [3].

View Copied Listing Information

When creating a new listing by copying an existing one, all the pre-filled fields from the original listing automatically populate in the new listing.

Click the Create button.

Course and Program Photos Display

Summary

Photos display on the Listings page when available. If no photo is provided, the default placeholder image will continue to display. Additionally, a colored border is added to help distinguish between courses and programs.

This update improves visual clarity and user experience on the Listings page.

 On the listing page, admins can see the listing photo and distinguish between programs and courses by the color of the border.

Promotion Page Filter Options
Summary

The Promotions page supports filtering by Catalog and status.

Change Benefit

This update gives admins more control and efficiency when managing large volumes of promotions.

Feature Workflow

View Promotions Page Filter ButtonIn the Promotions page [1], click the Filters button [2].

View Promotion Page Filter OptionsIn the Status drop-down menu, admins can filter promotions based on their status of expired, active, or upcoming [1].

To narrow results by a Catalog, choose a specific catalog from the Catalog drop-down menu [2]. If no specific Catalog is selected, promotions across all catalogs are displayed.
