Catalog Release Notes (2023-05-02)
In this Catalog release (May 2), Catalog Analytics is updated to equip users with improved filtering and search functionality, new report types, enhanced reports, and a more user-friendly export mechanism.
Catalog release notes indicate features and updates that are currently available in the Catalog beta environment. These updates will be available in production environments on the date indicated by the release notes.

Catalog Analytics is updated to equip users with improved filtering and search functionality, new report types, enhanced reports, and a more user-friendly export mechanism.
This update delivers an improved view for admins to better drive student enrollment and understand student engagement.
The new Analytics tab provides improved methods to view, filter, and manipulate data. The Listings, Enrollments, Orders, and Users tabs allow admins to easily evaluate course performance and access data.
Note: Reports and Analytics (old) tabs will be removed after July 3rd, 2023. If you have automations set up in the old versions, please adjust to the new version by June 30th to ensure a seamless experience.
The Listings tab allows admins to view data related to listings: number of used promotions, total revenue, listings created, and listings open for enrollment. A horizontal scrollbar allows users to scroll through the listing information provided. In the table, each listing displays the Canvas course ID, Catalog, Listing Status, Creation Date, Enrollment Count, Completion Count, Drop Count, List Price, Promotion, Discount, and Revenue. This data can be exported by clicking the Export CSV button. Users can also make filter selections by clicking the Filters button.
The Enrollments tab allows admins to view enrollment data: number of enrollments, active enrollments, completed enrollments, and dropped enrollments. In the table, each enrollment displays Student, Catalog, Listing, Listing status, Canvas Course ID, Enrollment Date, Status, and Certificate. This data can be exported by clicking the Export CSV button. Users can also make filter selections by clicking the Filters button.
The Orders tab allows admins to see purchase-related data and revenue or data-related to free courses: total revenue, transactions, and discounts. In the table, each order displays Purchaser, Catalog, Listing, Listing Status, Canvas Course ID, Bulk Purchase, Purchase ID, Reference ID, Promotion, Discount, and Revenue. This data can be exported by clicking the Export CSV button. Users can also make filter selections by clicking the Filters button.
The Users tab displays user and student registration data: total students, active students, and new students. The table displays data for each student: Student, Registered Through, Registration Data, Enrollment Count, Last Enrollment Date, Location, and an option to download the student transcript. This data can be exported by clicking the Export CSV button. Users can also make filter selections by clicking the Filters button.
Additionally, column names in CSV reports are updated to align with the Analytics enhancements. With this update, please check all reports to verify there are no breaks in automations.
