Issues with Dates Appearing?

Hi all,

Has anyone else had issues with dates appearing from Canvas into their Catalog listings? What I mean is that the section in the listing is not auto-populating the start and end date. Instead, you need to create a section in Canvas to have the listing auto-populate dates.

Hi everyone,

I found out that do to the new update from Instructure in December, you now need to add a section to a course to have the dates populate in a Catalog listing. Here is what support said:

 The section drop down won't show up unless there is a section in the course and once it does the default section will show up in the dropdown. The 'Self paced' will show up in the 'listing preview' on the right if no dates are set and the section drop down will simply list the section with the info that no dates are set.
