I have a certification program where each badge earned is set to expire after 2 years. If a learner wants to re-certify, they can pass the assessments again and claim those badges. What's happening is that Canvas Credentials won't re-issue a badge even if the learner's badge has already expired. I understand not re-issuing the same badge when it is still within that 2-year time period from the previous award. But why wouldn't it re-issue once the badge has expired? Does anyone know of a way around this or have any suggestions?
