[ARCHIVED] QR Code versus Canvas Mobile App

Why would a student use the QR code login over the Student Canvas App? I'm missing something...seems like if a student has the mobile app they wouldn't need the QR code.

@hbrown5018 The QR code is an easy way for students to login to Canvas with their mobile app.  With the QR code, the student does NOT have to look for their school, and then type in their login id and password; they can point the camera to the QR code and login.
