how can I make modules visible to students

Hi  @dtrevathan  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

This guide will help, https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12933-415257079 , but essentially.........

• Go to Settings,
• Click on the Navigation tab,
• Drag Modules up to the top area of the list.

Remember, Modules will not become visible to students until there is actually a module in the area.

The problem is not that I can't see the link. The problem is that in instructor view, when I am in modules, I can see the module that I made and the content that is in the module. However, when I go to student view, there is nothing--no module, no content. I see this message: No modules have been defined for this course

I thought the publish buttons were beside the content in the module, but there is another publish button at the top of the content that publishes the whole module.
