Sorry, but these documents are just incorrect.
The old Quiz one claims:
"The quiz also displays a clock icon [2] that you can use to extend time on the current attempt"
I tried this, and on my end it claimed there was extra time. The student claimed they did not have any extra time. This needs to work as advertised, or remove the option altogether.
The New Quiz claims you can do "Give additional time" and "Time limit multiplier" in the moderate quiz section, yet neither of these worked for my quiz (and yes, the student had a later "due" by date.
This really needs to work as the guides claim it does. If there are some other adjustments that need to be made also beyond these, then 1) the guide needs to detail these, and 2) no, there shouldn't be any other adjustments! If I am moderating a quiz - meaning the student is currently taking the quiz - any addition time given RIGHT THERE needs to override any other settings.
