[ARCHIVED] Excluding selected grades on a quiz

I have given a quiz. The grades were mostly horrible. I am offering a make-up quiz with the understanding that I will take the highest of the two scores. (the original quiz score OR the score from the make-up quiz)

How do I keep selected grades on the original quiz and the make-up quiz?

Hi @ggillombardo 

There is currently no way to do this in Canvas. Even if the quizzes were isolated to their own assignment group, Canvas cannot be set to ignore a grade from one quiz while keeping the grade from another.

Might be easier to just set the first quiz to not count towards the students' final grade, then keep the score from the second test, or simple let them attempt the first one more than once.
