I am having a similar issue. We've been sharing content for months between instructors. Now I can't import a quiz form the commons or import course content from shared courses. It is VERY frustrating! I don't get an error message-- it just doesn't show up.
I was able to import successfully the following day, and since then (but didn't know how to reply here to my own question for everyone to see). I think that "glitch" was probably due to high traffic. Let's hope that it is the same for you. Wait some time (like hours, not minutes) and try again. Good luck, Michelle & others in the same situation.
Glad to hear yours worked. I'll try again tomorrow or later tonight when there might be less traffic. Thanks for giving me some hope!
