[ARCHIVED] Can I input all assignments into the calendar?

Hi, new to canvas, sorry to ask a question like this. I have searched through the questions previously asked and found no answer. 

I am a new teacher that is not in the US and only person I know using canvas. 

How do I load all the class assignments into the student calendar? Do I have to manually input each assignment? Or can I do the entire class based on start and finish dates?

Hi  @arterbury  and welcome to the Community!  I hope your experience with Canvas has been positive so far.  In terms of the calendar, if you create assignments in a course and add due dates, these should automatically appear on the calendar for the course.  In addition, if you change the due date on the assignment page or move the item in the calendar, the due dates should be automatically updated anywhere in Canvas.  This is one of the features I really like about Canvas . . . adding an assignment automatically creates a calendar items as well as a grade book column.
