Bio:
Not really knowing what I wanted to do after graduating high school, I joined the Navy and studied electronics. After leaving the Navy and working in industry for a few years, I decided to attend college as a non-traditional (older) student. I earned an A.A. - Liberal Arts from Hillsborough Community College (HCC) in 2007 then transferred to the University of South Florida where I earned a B.A. in Anthropology in 2009 and a B.A. in English - Technical and Professional Writing in 2010. I then returned to HCC to adjunct Preparatory Writing courses. While working as an adjunct, I began the graduate instructional design program at Saint Leo University, which led me to my current position at HCC as an instructional designer.
When I am not at work, I enjoy teaching scuba diving and visiting interesting places, mostly outdoors, to practice my photography skills.
