Grade Sync Error between Skyward to Canvas

I am an instructor. Our school district is starting to use Canvas, and I am trying to implement it.

Things I have done:

* Created assignment categories on both Canvas/Skyward

* Tried to sync grade through the guide.

Error message I got:

"User does not have permission to write back to this resource."

What am I doing wrong? I tried to import assignments from Skyward directly, but then using CSV file don't work.

We use Synergy, but the Canvas Guides for Skyward are posted in the Community.

However, if your school is NEW to using Canvas, I wonder if your systems are set up for Grade Passback.  Grade Passback isn't an automatic thing.  The Canvas System Admin would have needed to set it up:  Skyward-and-Canvas - AdminGuides
