New Quizzes Not Translating

I have noticed that when I make a New Quiz, that questions aren't translated into another language even if a student's Canvas settings are set to another language other than English.  In a previous guide/question, I saw the option to select to have multiple languages available while building the quiz, but I don't see that anymore. What am I doing wrong? We need our non-English speaking students to still be able to understand the questions that are being asked.

That sounds odd! This might be a great question to ask Canvas support directly to see if it is related to a known issue with New Quizzes and languages. I did not see anything reported HERE on that.  I am also not familiar with the setting you referenced to have multiple languages available while building the quiz. 

Be sure to provide them with your specific examples and they can take a look further into this for you.

Has this problem been addressed yet?  I would like to know the work around for this.  In a normal Quizzes assignment, my students were able to right click on the screen and choose translate.  The whole assignment would be translated.  I used the New Quizzes function for the first time last week, and my students were right clicked, chose translate, and nothing was translated.  Am I missing something in the settings when I build the assignment, or is this still an issue that hasn't been fixed yet?

As far as I can see, this is still an issue.  I've got a New Quiz students are taking now.  My ELL students can use Google Translate, and it will translate Canvas' buttons and text, but the actual quiz questions and answers are still in English.

If the "Classic" quizzes are to be sunsetting, this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Hi @hairpm  -  You're not alone with this request. Just last week, an idea was submitted to the Idea & Themes process. Our Product Team will review the request soon and will either align it to a Theme or state a reason why it is declined. [New Quizzes] Allow Translation with Google Translate 

How do Ideas and Themes work in the Instructure Community?

It's been almost 3 years since this was opened. Is there a fix in sight? This is crucial for students, especially those at the entering ELL stage.
