Item Banks in a Master Course

Greetings all! I have created a "Master Course" that uses New Quizzes and Item Banks. That course has been shared to the Canvas Commons for faculty to import into their Canvas shell. However, faculty are now telling me that they can see the assessments built from the Item Banks but not the banks themselves. When I go to my Master Course it shows that I have shared the Item Banks with the Master Course with Edit permissions.

What am I missing or what step did I not take?

Hi lswilliams, 

Thank you for reaching out. To my knowledge, Commons doesn't have the ability to properly share the item banks themselves, as it doesn't have access to edit that permission setting, and wouldn't know to what exist it needs to do so, as it's only on the New quizzes side that item banks exist. You would have to manually give the teachers access, or list them as being able to view it, like noted in this guide.
