Download Student Responses on New Quizzes

We have a need (for reporting purposes) to download the individual students' responses on New Quizzes. I know this can be done on Classic Quizzes, but I cannot find similiar functionality on New Quizzes. Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be done?

I'm guessing that these reports aren't exactly what you are looking for?

I've seen those, and none have the data we need - but thank you for responding. We literally need the Student Analysis report available in Classic Quizzes. Any ideas on how we can get this information?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure on an answer for you.  Hopefully someone else here might chime in with a solution or two.

I think the only way to do this is through Canvas Data 2.

Hi Tracey,

At this moment, you can't download the student responses in New Quizzes. If you check the roadmap, you can see it's coming in the future. I know it's probably not a good alternative, but you can check the individual's responses on the Moderate page. 

Please keep an eye on the product blog for further updates on the topic.

It is very cumbersome to copy and paste responses from the New Quizzes feature.  I do hope that you can update this as soon as possible @TamasBalogh 

I would like to collect responses for research purposes in the future and really don't have the time to copy and paste each and every response! AUGH!

I avoided using New Quizzes up to this semester, and then for one feedback survey on a grad TA-designed exercise, I thought, hey, let's try it. It's coming anyway, might as well learn my way around. Now I have feedback from 50 students x 10 questions = 500 individual answers, and CAN'T DOWNLOAD RESPONSES????!!!! I'm at my wits' end with these "improvements." It never occurred to me that the download response function would be lost with the "upgrade" - I should have known better. Now I have no way to get the answers out, except by I guess copy-pasting FIVE HUNDRED TIMES. I don't have time to sit here and build a spreadsheet and copy 500 responses into it. I have a TA who is anxious to get their feedback, and students who were promised that their answers would be downloaded and their names removed before sharing with the TA. 

Does anyone have a work-around for this?

I am so sorry to hear of your predicament! 

Exactly what I was thinking too when I converted my quizzes over too.

Let's just hope that they can get this option available sooner than later.

I have good news, Student Analysis Report is getting close to the finish line. Please see the release notes for more details and the estimated arrival.

I hope that it will fulfil your need regarding access to students responses.
