Mastery View Predictive Assessment Multi-State Predictive Validity Report
The Mastery View Predictive Assessments (MVPAs) are rigorous benchmarks that measure student academic progress and predict summative outcomes. For districts to effectively use these assessments to make instructional decisions, they must align with state summative assessments and accurately predict students scores.
Results from a study completed by the LearnPlatform Research team reveal that the MVPAs are an accurate predictor of math, reading, and science state summative assessment scores in four states. Given the large representative sample size, these robust findings suggest that MVPAs are appropriate assessments to use for predicting student scores on state summative assessments.
