LearnPlatform Release Notes: August 2023 Recap
This month, we released enhancements to the Evidence Page; added tracking domain information and made navigation improvements to the Inventory Dashboard; and added a tile view option for the Public Product Library.
Enhancements to support the Evidence Page
Evidence Page (Admin view):
- Evidence Table now expands with the browser window instead of being a set width
- Columns were rearranged to place the order of most important information at the start of the table
- Effect Size column limits effect sizes to two decimal places
Add Evidence (Provider view):
- Form now saves information when selecting the “request validation” button to prevent data from being lost
- Providers can no longer select “LearnPlatform” as the authoring organization and is only available when added by LearnPlatform staff
Tracking domain info added to Inventory Dashboard
Background:
Tracking domains used to collect usage data for products is added internally by LearnPlatform staff, but that information has not been available to administrators.
Problem to solve:
In order to interpret their institution’s usage data accurately administrators need to know 1) what domains are actually being used to track usage of a product and 2) when the tracking domain was added to know whether their users just began using the tool, or if we (LearnPlatform) just began collecting on the back-end.
Solution:
Admins can now access tracking domain information + date each was added via the Usage Details table 3-dot kebab and on the product details usage page itself underneath the Educator Usage Details table.
Expandable Inventory Dashboard View
The Inventory Dashboard now expands with the page width to be able to view the entire Usage Details table at once.
Improved Inventory Dashboard Navigation
Administrators can now jump directly to a product’s usage details in the Inventory Dashboard straight from their Management > Products table.
Tile View in the Public Product Library (PPL)
The PPL now provides the ability for a user to choose whether they want to view products via a list -OR- a tile view.
