Ungraded Discussion Dates Fail to Save When Group Assignment is Enabled

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 9/11/24.

Description

Users are unable to update dates for ungraded discussions when the 'This is a group discussion' feature is enabled

Expected Behavior

Users should have the ability to update dates (Available from/until) for ungraded discussions

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have a course with at least one group set

  2. Create an Ungraded Discussion

  3. Enable Group Discussion

  4. Enter availability dates

  5. Note that the dates entered in the available From and Until will not save
