Description

External tool assignments set to "Assign To" for one user/section do not save when creating them. Instead, they are blocked by the
class="ui-widget-overlay".-
Occasionally, the external tool modal freezes before getting to save as well.

Expected Behavior
-
External Tool Assignments should save if only assigned to one student/section.
Workaround
-
Include an "Everyone Else" date, and go back into the assignment and remove it after successful creation
Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisite: Have an external tool installed with the Assignment selection placement

Create a new assignment and set the submission type to external tool

Select the external tool and content
-
Remove the "Everyone" date and instead select one student/section

See how the page freezes or turns grey
