So, where are you coming from???

Each year I love to start up this thread to see where everyone is coming from. Instructurecon has become such a great international event over the past few years.

4 years ago I attended my first and I was one of only three from Australia. Last year saw over a dozen.

And it is not just Australia. Now they come from all over Europe, Asia, the Middle East and even Canada (I was informed that it is NOT a northern US state or America's Top Hat last visit).

So, where are you from? Are you road tripping in from the east coast? Flying in from the west? Travelling by husky from the north or swimming in from over the seas?

This thread gives a chance to not only share your port of origin but also will allow you to connect with others from the same region. Maybe you can also connect up at Instructureconcarn and make some new connections.

I will start, for those who don't already know I am based in Sydney Australia (you know, the country where everything is trying to kill you) and have been a long time Canvas user, advocate and now staff member.

Looking forward to reconnecting with all those I have met over the years and keen to meet all those I haven't.

This is my third InstCon, but I am excited to be bringing my family for the first time! We are coming from Indianapolis. It was a last-minute decision, so we had upgrade to a condo instead of my original hotel room. I am looking to transfer the hotel room to somebody if anyone is still looking for lodging! Avoid the waitlist and grab this two queen bed room at the Keystone lodge and spa at a great rate!

This is my first time and really looking forward to it.

I will be coming with my co-worker from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, Durham, NC.  I've heard great things about instructurecon  and am looking forward to making some connections with some other business school peeps!

This is my first time to Colorado , and I'm planning on staying through until Aug 4th with my hubby (he's flying out at the end of the conference), looking for some good ideas of what to see/do in the Eagle/Vail/Aspen area....and GO!

I'm a newbie from Denver, Colorado, a short drive away from Keystone, I've got to go! I discovered Canvas through TCM's Mad About Musical's, and am a learning junkie. It's THRILLING to have discovered the huge learning community at Camvas! I gotta find out the "when". I hope I'm not too late!

 @BethCrook , when are you heading back to the airport? We got a shuttle ride for my Mom to get to Keystone, but are still working out the details of getting her back to Denver on Friday afternoon. Ultimately we can take her, but if you’re headed that way and have an empty seat... 😉

You will likely find me in the Community Booth most times, most days. Okay, maybe not "most" times, but many times throughout the days.

I'm easy to recognize, I look nothing like the 30-something, Mountain Dew Crew, young and intelligent folks typically found there. Oh yeah, I also typically look like a walking Instructure advertisement with a Canvas T-shirt, hat, coffee container, maybe a Canvas bag of some type and jacket. If there were Canvas pants, shoes and under garments given as swag I would likely be wearing those too, but I ain't showing you my undies - just sayin'!
