Hey everyone!
I have been following the post instcon 2018 tweets and blog posts. I saw that many were sharing their presentation materials and I wanted to do the same.
My session presentation took place Wednesday morning and was titled, Virtual Tightrope: Balancing Form and Function to Create Student-centered Canvas Courses. Our blended learning program, UCVirtual, utilizes a student-centered, content-first approach to create engaging Canvas courses. In my session I shared how we integrate tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe CC, Badgr and the GoogleEdu suite with Canvas. This allows our course developers and teachers to balance the very best of instructional and graphic design. Takeaways from my session included tips and templates to jumpstart the development of engaging, instructionally sound, student-centered courses.

PS The conference was fantastic and it was great to meet so many Canvas community members face-to-face! I am always amazed at the ingenuity and talent that is contained within our community. I am always interested in collaborating with and learning from others. Especially when it deals with making awesome courses for students.
