Sigfile: Any way to create one in Canvas?

I'm looking in the Guides and not finding an answer, so throwing this out to the group:

Is there a way to embed text in outgoing email sent from Canvas? I see the ways to set my preferred email address within my profile, but can't see anything about attaching a particular piece of text in a sigfile-like fashion.

Thanks, glad to know I'm not the only person who would like this feature -- I was searching for posts referencing "sigfile" but "signature" was the magic keyword I needed.

I wanted to let you know that I came across a recent blog post from someone at Instructure last evening, and it looks like signatures are now coming to the Canvas Inbox.  In this link that I'm providing, there are other updates you might be interested in looking through, too.
