I just signed up for a Canvas free account. I am trying to import a course from Commons, but I keep getting the error "Complete registration by clicking the “finish the registration process” link sent to your email.". I finished the registration, and even when I go back to that email it says I need to log in because I have already completed registration. This is very frustrating!

Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
When you initially signed up for a Free-For Teachers Canvas Account, a link was sent to your email, which would be the same email that you registered your FFT account with. When you open the email, you will see a link that says 'Complete Registration Process', upon clicking that link your email will be verified and you'll then be able to start using Commons and other features that require account verification.
If you don't see the email directly in your inbox, here are a few tips:
1) Check your archived and spam folders.
2) If you still can't find it, try searching the word 'Canvas' or 'Instructure' in your search bar. Sometimes, you need to search for it directly for some reason, I know a few people, including myself, that have run into that issue.
If it still doesn't work, I recommend reaching out to Canvas Support by using the 'Help' link on the global navigation bar, then click Report a Problem and fill out the form. From there, Canvas will be able to reach out to you to support you further.
I understand that you already completed registration, however is it possible that you sent the request again in your settings? When you sign up for FFT, you actually get two emails from Canvas, not just one!
