Free Teacher Account - Login Error "Failed to fetch"

Since the transition to the new login interface, I keep getting an error that says "failed to fetch," I have to click on Browse Courses to get to my dashboard. I tried to log in with Google using the same email address as the account I already created, and it went to a brand new account.
Is anyone else getting this error? Is there something I am missing to get this to work correctly?

I do not have any answer for you and I would recommend that you send an email (from that email address) to support@instructure.com.
Be a clear as possible about needing help logging to your Canvas Free for Teachers account at https://canvas.instructure.com/login and provide this screenshot.
Hopefully they will help you.
