Does Canvas delete courses in the free teacher account?

I have a free teacher account at https://canvas.instructure.com

I have some old courses there that I want to keep permanently.

Will Canvas automatically delete them if I just leave them there long term?

If they are scheduled to be deleted after a certain number of years, is there a way to keep them from being deleted?

The brief answer to this is no. If you have courses you want to keep we will not delete them due to inactivity. Please read the Acceptable Use Policy for information around inactivity and account deletion.
