Forums deadline.

I'm Irma Cristina Pineda, I need the help of the Canvas community.

I need the forums with student participation deadlines to also have the option of being able to view them after they are closed so that students can share their comments or contributions.

Students should always, that is, while the forum is enabled or after it is closed, they should have access to see the discussion generated for their feedback and learning.

I remain attentive to your comments.

@IrmaCris  - one possible approach is to set a due date for the discussion and then after you reach a point where you no longer accept new posts, go to the discussion page and move the forum to 'Closed for Comments'.

Students can still read the posts but cannot add new comments.

I agree with you. In fact, from what I can see, discussions that have been closed - either manually ("close for comments") or pre-set by "available until" date - ARE still and always available to for students to view. 
You can check this out for yourself by switching to "student view" and entering a discussion that has been closed or otherwise "unavailable" after a given date. You should be able to view existing posts but not add any new posts.
