Display Name vs. Full Name Showing

I was playing around with the Discussion Redesign and noticed that the new discussion view shows the full name of a user instead of the display name of the user like it says in the Editing a User Account documentation. This has affected both Announcements and Discussions since they are both technically a discussion object.

Hi @erik_gustafson, this looks like a bug. We should be using the Display Name not Full Name. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, we'll file a ticket to investigate.

They are two completely different attributes. By default, the Display Name is a combination of a user's first and last name. Unlike Display Name, the Full Name attribute is not visible in the graphical user interface (GUI) and cannot be set within the properties of the user account.
