Analytics 2 and Canvas Data Request Logs

Due to the unprecedented volume of requests coming to Canvas application servers, our request data sharing process for the North Virginia region has experienced some request log data loss on 8/24, 8/25, and 8/26. The data loss is affecting the Canvas Data request table and New Analytics Weekly Online Activity view. 

At the moment we are estimating the loss at about 20%, though the percentage might vary. We are still able to deliver partial request data for 8/24, 8/25, and 8/26 to customers hosted in the North Virginia region. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to backfill lost data and are working on restoring the data pipeline to provide best effort data coverage for customers using Canvas Data request table and New Analytics Weekly Online Activity view. We will provide updates regarding this process on a daily basis.
