How to Turn off course pacing for a course once it is enabled?

I tried using Course pacing in my sandbox and now I am wondering how to turn it off. 

E.g., what if a course being used with Course Pacing no longer needs it as the mode of delivery has changed?

@JayParekh To turn it off uncheck the setting in Course Settings, but you should be aware that there is cleanup associated with this. You will have to go into each individual assignment and update the "assign to" and due date fields since you would no longer need Course Pacing to automatically set due dates for you.

Clean up would certainly be an unpleasant experience but at this stage I suppose inevitable too. So I think Course pacing should really only be turned on for the courses what will really benefit from it. Any teachers accidentally turning it on to test and then turning it off will have to go through the pain of clean up. I wish a little message/warning pop-up link "A date clean up will be required for each individual assignment if you choose to turn off Course Pacing" could be helpful.
