Ability To Retrieve Unknown Course Pacing ID

There really needs to be a method to get the course pacing ID or all default course pacing IDs should be 0. The only time the course pacing ID is shown is during the creation response. After that, you need to try random values to access the default pace. There should be a way to retrieve all course pacing IDs using the course pace end-point:

v1/courses/{course_id}/course_pacing

Currently, this just returns the page not found error.

Agreed.  I'm trying to delete a course pace in a course where it was accidentally enabled and I'm unable to delete the course pace precisely because there's no way to get it yet it is required to delete the course pace via API.  Since I'm not able to delete the course pace, every assignment shows "Multiple Due Dates" which is not true. There needs to be a "delete" button in the GUI that can remove the course pace and all its remnants. I can't believe this functionality does not exist!

I tried to make this a Feature Request but was told to share my experience in this group. I didn't realize Course Pacing was still in the "early adoption" phase.

I hope what Kristin says is correct about Product Managers monitoring this space.  There really needs to be an easy way to delete a course pace that would also undo the assignment delegation. What a pain in the rear to have to deactivate it then go into each individual assignment and delete the delegated assignments until its back to "everyone."

Since users are unable to vote on ideas on this topic, it may just fall between the cracks. I don't think enough people are using this feature because of a lack of documentation and support. Many issues could be resolved by the engineering team more thoroughly implementing the API endpoints.

Also, I have not seen one product manager comment or react to any topics I have posted on for this product.
