I'm a student using Canvas. I recently went to take a quiz and I noticed that the questions were overlapping. This was preventing me from answering "written" responses. The only way I could get pass it was either expanding the text box which only worked until I had to take a quiz using honor lock. As a result, I had to use the html box to write responses. Has anyone else had this issue?
I have tried logging out and logging back into canvas.
I have tried refreshing the page multiple times.
I have even went on a different computer so, it's definitely canvas.
I also contacted canvas support to let them know of this issue.
Problem was resolved: I deleted "Lockdown Browser" and the issue went away. I still have honorlock which wasn't the problem. Hope this helps anyone if they run into the same problem.

My school does not use Honorlock for virtual proctoring so I cannot speak to the challenge you have been experiencing related to that.
What I can say is that you have done the right thing by reaching out to Canvas Support. Have you also reached out to your school's Canvas support team or IT Department?

Yes, I've reached out to canvas support and they finally got back to me to figure out what is going on. Thanks for the reply.

I'm having this exact same issue. It started happening this last Friday. I've tried restarting my computer and clearing my browser history and cache but nothing worked. It happens with any survey or quiz assignment with text boxes. I haven't reached out to my school's tech team yet but I will soon.
I received some help but not from support on checking the extensions. Turned out once I removed "Lockdown Browser" the problem went away. I was still able to take my exam during Honorlock so that extension wasn't the issue. see if that will help.

I'm having this issue on a Chromebook too so it must be a Chromebook specific issue then for some reason.
