problems setting up collaboration teams

I'm trying to set up new Collaborations Teams before the semester starts.

I made a group with 4 students.

Then when I click on the link to "collaborate" I'm given a blank screen. Is it because I, too, need to be a member of the group?

If so, I cannot figure out how to do that, because I am not listed on the screen for making Collaboration teams.
