How do students know if they submitted multiple submissions. My students slides and a brochure in one assignment. They can only "see" one of their submission.

This depends on whether or not the Assignment Enhancements for Students feature option has been turned on at your school within Canvas. If it has not been turned it, students always see their most recent submission for the assignment but not previous submissions of the same assignment. (However, instructors are always able to see all submissions from a given student.) If the Assignment Enhancements for Students feature option has been enabled by your Canvas administrator, then students can use a drop-down menu to view past submissions.
