logging into canvas

When I try and login into my canvas it is going to a "Sign On Error" page saying "authentication error" what is the issue?

Hi @CalebBerryhill ...

This might be a bit hard to troubleshoot here in the Community because all schools that use Canvas as their LMS (Learning Management System) have a different way to sign in...which may involve their own authentication system.  I would suggest reaching out to your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education team to see if they can help troubleshoot this with you.  A couple things you might try in the meantime include:

• Try a different browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
  • What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
• Clear your browser history/cache
  • How do I clear my browser cache on a PC?
  • How do I clear my browser cache on a Mac?

I did a quick search of OU's website, and I found this page: Service - Canvas (ou.edu).  I'm not sure if it will be of any help to you or not, but I wanted to at least provide you with the link.
