howw to transfer item banks when I change distric

After I put in all this time to create item banks, which I am understanding are associated with my account, not with my courses, what happens to them when I leave my current district and move to a different one?

Let's say that the new district uses Canvas, wouldn't I be getting a new account?  As I don't know of any way to download my current item banks, it seems I would be doomed to having to retype all the banks over again, which will be hugely painful given the huge number of questions I've created over the years.

Is there a way to move my item banks from my account to my old district to my account with a new district?

I don't think Canvas has an item bank export option yet. I can't find the link, but I'm pretty sure I saw someone recommend putting all of your item bank questions into a quiz and then exporting a quiz file (Settings > Export Course Content). You can then re-upload that quiz export into your new account, but then you'd need to re-do your banks.

That's a fantastic question! You will have the ability to export any of your Canvas created content, including item banks, to any institute that uses Canvas and import it exactly how it was saved.
