How do I share/copy a canvas course to another teacher

There are a handful of ways you could do this:

• If your school allows (you'd have to talk with your school's Canvas administrator about this), your colleague could be enrolled in your course.  That way, your colleague could go into his/her course "Settings" and use the Course Import Tool to copy the content from your course to his/her course.  Alternatively, you could be enrolled in your colleague's course, and then you would go into his/her course "Settings" screen to use the Course Import Tool to copy the contents from your course to his/her course.  Just as long as one of you are enrolled in both courses, this would work.

• If your Canvas admin would not allow the above, your Canvas admin could do this for you.  Just make sure that you provide your course (the source) and your colleage's course (the destination) information so that your Canvas admin knows where to copy/import content to/from.
• Do you have and/or use Canvas Commons (the "Commons" button on the left-hand global navigation menu)?  If so, you could share your entire course to Commons (only share it with your institution...not the entire Canvas population).  Then, once the course is shared to Commons, your colleague could import the course from Commons to his/her own course.  This eliminates the need for you to be enrolled in someone else's course.
