canvas class details are not coming up on my MacBook.

I have an older MacBook and when I am on canvas I am unable to see my class details. I have made sure all popup blockers are turned off as well as the reader is turned on and I am still unable to access them. I have an apple phone and am able to see them and I was able to see it on an HP computer but not my MacBook. What is causing the screen to be blocked.

You said that you have an older MacBook. If you take a look at this Guide:
What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
...does it tell you that your browser is up-to-date?
Have you tried clearing your browser's history/cache files? The Guide to do that is located at: How do I clear my browser cache on a Mac?
You might also want to try contacting the Canvas Help Desk staff to see if they have any suggestions for you: How do I contact Canvas Support? - Instructure Community
