Washed-out 'Tick' for Task & related submissions not loading

Hello wonderful community

One of our teachers has noticed that a couple of their tasks are behaving strangely.

This only started this past Friday (28 Apr 2023).

These tasks span a few courses and were all created in the related Blueprint courses before syncing.

1. The tasks are showing a 'washed-out' published tick (see image).

2. The submission within these tasks either don't load, load sporadically or load in an unusual (larger than normal) size.

Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this particular ghost in the machine?

I've submitted a ticket with instructure but wanted to check with the brains trust as well.

Here's the difference:

Light green (washed out) - The item (e.g. assignment, discussion or quiz) already has student submissions and cannot be "unpublished."

Medium green - The item can still be unpublished. It either doesn't yet have student submissions or it's a page.
