User/student analytics data validity/retention

How long does canvas stores the analytics data? The page views shown in student analytics is for a certain period or from the beginning of the student interaction?

Hi @brkandula,

I found this question while doing a community cleanup, so sorry for the belated response but I wanted to at least provide an answer.  As far as I'm aware, the analytics are basically stored for the life of the course.  Usually the date range for analytics viewed in the UI will be the same as the course dates (So a course running from Sept 1 to December 31 will show analytics and activity between those dates).
